Wooden garden pond set
A duck house at the edge of the pond.
A small painted duck house on a wooden pond base, with two mallards (mum and drake), three ducklings, one frog on a lily pad, and a stand of dyed reed grass. The pond surface is painted blue glass-effect; the duck house has a hinged felt-lined door. Made for tabletop small-world play.
Ages & how it’s used
Made for ages 4 and up. Children move ducks between water and house, ‘feed’ them, count the ducklings. Each piece lifts off cleanly. Used as a centerpiece on a child’s desk for the morning, packed back into the duck house at the end of the day.

Care
Dry-cloth the base. The ducks and frog are sealed in water-based finish; wipe-clean only. The reed grass shouldn’t be soaked — if dust builds up, a soft brush works.

Does the duck-house door open?
Yes, on a small brass hinge. The opening is wide enough for the mallard mum to walk in upright.
Are the ducklings choking-hazard small?
The ducklings measure ~3 cm long — sized for ages 4+ and not appropriate for under-3s.
How big is the pond base?
Approximately 26×18 cm. Fits on a child’s small table or low shelf.
Is the paint food-safe?
Water-based, food-grade, lead-free. Sourced to meet ASTM F963.
