Wipe with a dry or barely-damp cloth when dusty or sticky. Plain water only — no detergents.

Don’t submerge in water. Water warps joinery and lifts the water-based finish.

Don’t use disinfectant wipes or bleach. Both strip the finish and can leave residue near a child’s hands.

Avoid direct sunlight for long periods. UV fades hand-painted detail over time.

For small scuffs in the paint, a tiny dab of water-based, kid-safe craft paint can refresh the finish.

Brush with a soft dry brush to remove dust from the weave.

Spot-clean with a barely-damp cloth and air-dry.

Avoid prolonged damp storage — rattan can mildew if stored wet.

Re-shape gently if the basket has been crushed in transit — the natural fibre relaxes back over a day.

Handle small painted parts gently — chipped paint is fixable with a craft brush.

Store sets in their original linen pouch or a cloth bag — keeps the small pieces together and protects the paint from rubbing.

Inspect quarterly for any loose joinery; tighten with a small dab of wood glue if you’re handy, or email support@bramwild.com for guidance.

Most bramwild items are designed for open display — on a windowsill, low shelf, or tray on the floor. Stored that way, they invite play and stay dust-free.

For long-term storage, wrap in tissue paper or a cotton cloth and place in a dry, room-temperature spot. Avoid attics (heat) and basements (damp).
