A tap game that returns the balls itself
A solid-beech tap game shaped like a tree-stump. Three painted critters peek up from carved holes; tap one with the woodpecker hammer and it sinks, while another rises. The critters drop through to a hopper inside the stump and return through a side hole — no resetting, no batteries, no plastic mechanism. Made for the under-fives who like to whack things, sized to live on a low shelf.

Care
Wipe with a dry cloth or barely-damp linen. Avoid submerging. If a critter ball gets stuck in the hopper, turn the stump upside down and tap the base — it will drop free. Store the hammer with the head down to keep the handle from rolling off the shelf.

Is the hammer head heavy enough to hurt a finger?
No. The hammer head is solid beech, not metal. The full weight is around 80 grams — heavy enough to feel satisfying but well below any harm threshold for ages 3+.
Do the balls come out automatically?
Yes. The tree-stump has an internal hopper that catches the dropped balls and returns them through the side hole. No resetting required.
Is the paint food-safe?
Water-based, food-grade, lead-free. Sourced to meet ASTM F963.
