A pegboard-style weather station in painted birch ply, with three turn-dials (wind, rain, and moon phase) and a stand-up clip for a hand-drawn weather card. Children walk to the window each morning, look out, and turn the dials to match. Quiet object; quiet ritual.
Ages & how it’s used
Made for ages 4 and up. The dials turn with audible clicks; children associate the click with naming the weather. We use it for morning routine, after-school reset, or as a quiet calendar at a child’s desk. No batteries, nothing to charge.

Care
Wipe with a soft dry cloth. The dials run on a wooden post and may need a single drop of beeswax once a year to stay smooth. Keep out of direct south-facing sun — long UV exposure fades water-based paint over years.

Does it actually measure weather?
No — this is a learning board, not a thermometer. The dials are turned by hand to match what the child sees outside the window.
How big is it?
About 22 cm wide, 28 cm tall on its stand. Sits on a windowsill, low shelf, or child’s desk.
Is the paint safe?
Water-based, food-grade, lead-free. Sourced to meet ASTM F963.
Can it be wall-hung?
Yes — there’s a small hanging keyhole on the back, or it stands free on its own base.
